The other day I came across one of the Bollywood movie trailers named "Wanted". This title was very familiar to me and it kind of struck a chord with my life. One of my friend had been writing posts about "Life" in general when I started seriously giving a thought about my life. "Wanted" to me since my childhood days was a derogatory term. in my "Life" arises two thoughts. Am I "Wanted" or am I "(un)wanted" ??
To answer this question or rather contemplate, I took a cup of coffee, played the "FRIENDS" dvd and lazily sat on my recliner and in a short span of time I really was lost into thoughts imagining about my "Life" so far.My need in the family always varied from time to time but most of the time I was the (un)wanted kid. Everyone hated me, disliked talking to me (of course not my parents). Was all this because I always kept to myself, because I was too frank and blunt when talking to people or was it because I was a loser?
These bunch of questions always kept dancing around my mind just like how numbers used to dance around the head of the kid in Taare Zameen Par. The kept pace with me wherever I went and one final day I realized they were no more. Where did they go? What happened to them all of a sudden? Why did they vanish just like the lightning? Now, I kept asking these questions to myself when I attained enlightenment (just like Buddha :P). No, I am not any Buddha or Mahatma to attain enlightenment but yeah I did finally find an answer to all these questions. It was because I stopped bothering about people to whom I was (un)wanted and started caring and valuing people to whom I was "wanted" and here I am again happy, joyous and enjoying every moment of my "Life".
Ding Dong, Ding Dong...Ohh!!! Someone is ringing the door bell and OMG I had been dreaming ridiculous stuff all the while!!! No, wait. It wasn't ridiculous. All that had been hiding and paining my heart all these days finally came out. Now, I ought to go and answer the door bell else looks like they would break in.

10 things that make you a pucca Hyderabadi
1) However Spellbinding Niagara Falls is, for you Hussain Sagar Lake/Tank Bund is the best.
2) However attractive and famous Statue of Liberty is, Buddha Statue is always on the top of the list for you.
3) Your Hindi always contains the words apunko, tereko, kaiku etc. :)
4) Starbucks is nothing when compared to the Blue Sea Restaurant near Uppal Bus Depot :)
5) Though you shell out more than half of your pay check to auto drivers, you consider traveling in auto to be luxurious.
6) Haggling is your birth right. Literally everything, from a Rs 2 Ice Cream to a Rs 20,00,000 Car.
7) However clean are public restrooms, you still prefer open air restrooms ;)
8) No five star restaurant's food comes closer enough to Gokul Chat or the manchurias, bread omlette, idli's sold on the roadside bandi's.
9) You roam around the malls like Hyderabad Central, City Center, Shoppers Stop, Life Style etc. just to buy a pair of sweat pants.
10) You talk about hating corruption and being another Tagore/Bharateeyudu but end up bribing the cop when you are caught for not possessing the license or not wearing the helmet instead of paying the challan.
If you find at least some of these features in you, then you are getting into the mode of being a Hyderabadi. Welcome to the Gang!! If you find all these features in you, then BINGO!!! You are a pucca Hyderabadi :)

Similarity between Pokiri and Committed Girls :)
There is this famous telugu movie called Pokiri in which the lead actor quotes a dialogue "okka saari commit avthe naa maata nene vinnanu" (which means if I decide on something, I won't pay heed to my words too). So now you might wonder what similarity does it have with committed/engaged girls. Yeah, in today's world, girls have so drastically changed that they hardly do care for their "family" who had taken so much care in bringing them up and now believe, it is the future "husband" who is all for them, which sounds so ridiculous and funny to me. So then I decided that the same Pokiri dialogue can be used for these kind of girls with a slight modification and here it goes "okka saari commit avthe maa aayana maata thappa evari maata vinnanu" (Once I get committed/engaged, I won't pay heed to anyone's words except my husband's)
No offense meant to all those girls but yeah off late girls are just this way and this attitude seriously pains me. Poor thing, parents struggle day and night just to raise them and give them all they want and in the end this is what they get. It is high time that girls start giving a little bit of respect and affection to their "family" if not on par with their "husband's family".

OMG!!! It is not "Flo"rida, it is "Flu"rida
Yes, I mean every word of the title specified above. It really is not "Flo"rida but "Flu"rida. Ever since I had come back from "Flo"rida, I have been down with Flu :(. I have never been down with such a bad flu but this flu due to "Flu"rida was so bad that it drained out the total energy out of my body making me literally a dead soul. The main culprit in "Flu"rida was the not so "Clear" Water Beach in Tampa and this gave me and my friends a nightmare (due to bad flu) for almost a week. It is almost more than a week and now we are slowly recuperating from the after effects of having fun by playing in the waters of the not so "Clear" water beach in Tampa :)

5
How many times do you utter this phrase "5 minutes" in a day? For me, the day starts with "5 minutes". Getting up early in the morning is such a pain and I guess most of you will concur with me in this. Everyday when the clock strikes 5, my mom starts her herculean task of waking me up and here starts the phrase "5 minutes" in my life. Truly speaking, off all those 6 hours sleep every night I really enjoy only those last 5 minutes of sleep. Now, this concept of 5 minutes has become so inclined to my life that for every task or every work I was asked to do I started asking for 5 minutes more time to get into the task (not my office work of course, else I would have been chucked out within a week I joined ;) ). Even for having food, I ask myself (or whoever serves me food) for 5 minutes to start eating unless and until I am really really hungry.
This "5 minutes" has become more so a part of my life with my mom's arrival to my place. According to a third person's perspective this attitude symbolizes laziness but according to me it is anything but laziness. I would probably call this as the "5 minutes of LIFE". There is always fun in being lazy, not getting things done at time, but not at the cost of something. The funniest of all is when my friend asked me where on earth is your next blog post and I asked her for 5" minutes" to complete it and post it :P
So folks, enjoy your lives and make merry of every "5 minutes" of your lives ;)

Deep in my heart thinking about you :) :)
On a cold December night, deep down the woods I wandered,
thinking about you, those lovely days we spent and those lovely times we had,
tears welled up my eyes recollecting those sweet memories,
wiping my tears, braving the cold winds, I walked further deep into the woods,
when I hear this soothing music,
So pleasing was the music that it made me forget all my worries and all my pain,
I went in search of the voice, rather, the singer.....
Braving my way through the dark dangerous path,
determined to find the singer whose voice melted my heart,
I set on this not so promising journey, traveling for what seemed like miles, through the bushy paths,
when I finally could hear the voice growing louder, and there sat this young girl with her back facing me,
So enchanted by her music, that I failed to notice who she was,
When I heard someone calling out for me,
and Voila!!! It was you,
Happy that the Sunshine of my abode is back, I jumped with joy,
only to wake up realizing it to be a lovely dream.
